Zebra Club focuses on research and preservation of historical photographic processes, supporting education and long-term knowledge conservation.

Mission of Zebra Club

Zebra began in 2018 with little more than curiosity and a deep passion for historical photographic processes. By openly sharing our experiments, research, and experiences, something unexpected happened. A community slowly formed around these fragile but powerful techniques.

Over the years, you, the artists, photographers, researchers, and enthusiasts, turned that shared curiosity into a living exchange of knowledge. Your trust, feedback, and willingness to share made this journey possible.

We continued to document, write, and teach, but it became clear that informal sharing was no longer enough. These processes, and the people who practice them, deserve a more lasting and accessible framework.

That is why we created Zebra Club.

Zebra Club is an independent initiative working closely with Zebra Dry Plates, dedicated to connecting like-minded artists and researchers, preserving knowledge, and creating access to hands-on education in historical and alternative photography.

Through workshops, publications, public demonstrations, and charity initiatives, Zebra Club supports research, conservation, and the continuation of these crafts for future generations.

To support these activities, Zebra Club organizes charity auctions and will soon offer membership program.
